The full moon in March, known as the Worm Moon , marks the beginning of spring—when the earth starts to thaw, and life beneath the soil stirs awake. Worms, those essential decomposers, begin their work, aerating the ground and breaking down organic matter. But they aren’t the only ones waking up—this season also activates unseen forces within our bodies, including parasites and stored toxins.

If you’ve been feeling restless, anxious, or having trouble sleeping , this could be more than just seasonal shifts—it might be a sign that parasites in your system are becoming active. Parasites and heavy metals tend to be more restless around the full and new moons, making this the perfect time for a parasite cleanse, heavy metal detox, or general system reset .

Spring Cleaning: Inside & Out

Spring is a natural time of renewal. We instinctively clean our homes, open the windows, and clear out clutter. But what about internal spring cleaning? Just as we deep-clean our spaces, we should also take time to detox our bodies, our minds, and our energy fields.

  • Physical Cleansing:
  • Energetic Cleansing:
    • Releasing relationships or habits that drain you (also known as “energy vampires”)
    • Setting boundaries and protecting your energy
    • Grounding with nature—barefoot walking, sun exposure, time near water
    • Using tools like sage, palo santo, or sound healing to clear stagnant energy
  • Mental & Emotional Detoxing:
    • Journaling to release old patterns and emotions
    • Meditating on what no longer serves you
    • Identifying limiting beliefs and shifting your mindset
    • Practicing breathwork or movement to clear emotional stagnation

The Blood Moon Eclipse: A Powerful Time for Release

This particular Worm Moon is also a Blood Moon Eclipse , intensifying the energy of transformation. Lunar eclipses are known to illuminate what is hidden, both within us and in our external lives. If something has been weighing on you—whether it’s a toxic relationship, a bad habit, or unresolved emotions—this is a powerful time to clear it out .

Ways to Work with the Blood Moon Eclipse:

  • Set intentions for release and renewal
  • Perform a ritual bath with Epsom salt, clay, or essential oils to draw out toxins
  • Write down things you’re ready to let go of and burn the paper as a symbolic act
  • Spend time in silence and reflection , tuning into your inner wisdom
  • Use sound healing or drumming to move stagnant energy out of your body

As Within, So Without

Just as the soil awakens with new life, so do our bodies and minds. When we align with these natural cycles—clearing out what no longer serves us—we make space for new growth, fresh energy, and deeper alignment . Whether you’re doing a full-body cleanse, cutting ties with draining influences, or simply refreshing your mindset, this Worm Moon is the perfect invitation to cleanse, clear, and create space for something better.

What are you ready to release? What fresh energy are you calling in this season?
