Why I Want All My Clients On Celery Juice

Have you heard of the latest trend? I’m especially wary and cautious of trendy things when it comes to diets, so I will always do my research on a bandwagon before I consider hopping on (I almost never hop on). Celery juice is one of these, but this trend is worth following, because it actually WORKS ! This little celery juice guinea pig approves.

Anthony William, author of the Medical Medium series, has been bragging about celery juice and its amazing benefits for decades, and people are finally catching on. Celery is actually not a vegetable, but an herb, so it behaves in the body much differently. It has very powerful healing effects for virtually any symptom. (Check out his book Liver Rescue! I have been loving his new liver detox protocol outlined in this book. )

Do you struggle with digestive issues, such as gas, bloating, or indigestion ? Do you have skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, or eczema ? Do you have high blood pressure, diabetes, or gall stones ? Then celery juice may be the answer you’ve been looking for! The list goes on and on, and I’ll let you hear it from the source itself here: Listen to Medical Medium’s podcast episode about this Miracle Juice here.

As a gut health expert, I can confidently tell you that celery juice is one of the best things you can do for your digestion – You really have to try it to believe it!

Why does it work?
Well, as I mentioned earlier, celery is exceptionally powerful because it’s an herb and not a vegetable. It’s one of the most powerful things that you can do for your digestion because it stimulates your gastric glands, getting your body to produce more hydrochloric acid and enzymes by itself – not supplementing with pills! Don’t get me wrong, I love my enzymes, but if I can get my body to start producing more on it’s own without taking supplements, then count me in!

Celery juice can also help with:

  • Yeast/fungus
  • Mold exposure
  • Viral infections
  • Food allergies
  • Chronic dehydration
  • Dry eyes
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Acid reflux
  • Inflammation
  • Anxiety
  • Fatigue

and SO MUCH MORE!

(Seriously, listen to this podcast.)

Ok, I sold you on the celery juice. Now what? How do you start?

First, you need a juicer.

If you already have a juicer at home, great! Let’s put it to good use.

If you only have a blender and can’t afford to invest in a juicer, you can try blending the celery ( don’t add water!) and strain the juice using a nut or cheese cloth, or a fine strainer

If you are interested in purchasing a juicer, there are a few things that you should know;

There are two types of juicers for home use – centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers.

Centrifugal juicers have a filter that spins, creating more heat and causing more of the juice to oxidize, which can also kill enzymes.

Masticating juicers are the best juicers you can buy for home use. They tend to be a little pricier, but well worth the investment. Masticating juicers chew the food slowly, so you will get more juice out of the produce and the vitamins and minerals are preserved for longer. This is the masticating juicer I personally use and love – it’s a quality juicer with a 15-year warranty.

If you’re not ready to invest that much because you don’t know if you want to commit to the juice life, this is a good masticating juicer with a 1-2 year warranty.

How much celery is enough celery?
I want you to start with 8-10oz of organic celery juice every morning on an empty stomach and work your way up to 16-20oz (this is about an entire bunch of celery, depending on its size). If celery by itself is a little too salty for you, you can add some cucumber or an apple in there for taste, but your goal is to drink straight celery by itself. Adding anything to the celery juice, even lemon or water, will make it lose it’s potency by up to 60%. Consistency is key, so I’d like you to do try this every morning for at least a month. My prediction is that you’ll love it so much, it’ll become a permanent part of your morning routine!

Have you tried celery juice already? I want to hear all about it!
